The Seminole County Sheriffs Office is proactive and as such we are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and has a true desire to serve and protect the citizens of our community. Deputies are required to perform law enforcement and crime prevention work for the protection of the county, maintain order, enforce state laws, and protect life and property within the county. Patrol the county jurisdictions as well as assisting other municipal, and tribal law enforcement agencies while providing quality police service to all citizens, visitors, and businesses. Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service promptly. Deputies are required to investigate criminal activity, seek and gather evidence, prepare written incident reports and collision reports, and submit them promptly. The Patrol Deputy position consist of Performing regular patrols on streets, responding to calls of distress, and assisting citizens in calamities, disasters, accidents, or any form of threat.
